Getting Started: Launching Your Beyond Organic Business

Just joined the business and excited for your Beyond Organic Mission Marketer or Business Builder Kit to arrive in the mail? Well, that is certainly exciting, but why wait to get started?! Here is the simple system we use and recommend to our team for building a business with Beyond Organic.

Understanding the Business

New to network marketing? Here is what you need to know: this is a business you are in FOR yourself but never BY yourself. It is designed to be simple and duplicatable which is why we strongly suggest you lean on your upline (that’s us! And Mike & Kate Battistelli).

You can also get to know our industry a bit better by stocking your library with these “reading musts” and checking out a couple posts about leaving behind the corporate rat race and building your own home-based business.

Where to Start

So here’s how starting your business works: you share your story with friends, loved ones, whomever you want whom you feel would want to change their diet, increase their income, and/or improve their world. We call your story your “WHY”. It’s your purpose for joining our team; the reason you’ve become a Beyond Organic Mission Marketer. For some, it’s for financial freedom. For others, health. Some feel a higher calling to give back (and as you’ll learn, this company’s mission will allow all of us to give back to those in need in many different ways).

Your WHY

The most important first step is to give thought to, then write down, your own “why”. You’ll share your “why” with anyone you approach.

Next Steps: 1-3

Once you have your “why” down and you talk to anyone who expresses any interest, wheres what you do:

  1. Tell them your “why”
  2. Tell them how excited you are about this new opportunity
  3. Get them on a Tuesday Noon ET or Tuesday 8pm ET webinar for a business opportunity presentation (Mike does them every week, same time), OR set up a time they are available for a three-way call with you and me or Mike, OR invite them to a Beyond Organic Tasting*

*Beyond Organic Tastings are held at least once per month in the Central Florida area — sometimes more often — and may be held in other parts of the country as well.  Ask me if you or your prospect live outside the area and we’ll help you find a tasting event close to you.

The Hardest Step: 4

Then, (and this is the hard part) stop talking (ok that’s the hard part for ME) but I mention it because most new Mission Marketers tend to complicate things by feeling they have to do way more work (talking). They tend to “firehose” people with too much info. Keep it simple instead. Share your passion, share your “why” about wanting more time for living your life and less worry about the bills (or whatever your personal “why” is) and then say, “My sponsor can answer all of your questions so lets get them answered for you! Are you free Tuesday at 8pm?”

Also try to get them to watch the company’s “First Look” video before they attend the Tuesday webinar. To access this video, send them to your own personal website [your user name] and click on “Business Opportunity” in the green nav bar at the top.

It’s that simple 🙂

The system is simple, puts minimum work on you, leaves your friend feeling heard, special, and knowledgeable about their options but WE DO NOT PRESSURE them into anything they don’t want. That’s just not cool. But sharing the opportunity IS so that’s what we do.

One More Time, with Feeling!

So to recap, write down your “why”, share it with others, listen to their needs and wants, invite them to learn more by attending a webinar or tasting or getting on a 3-way call, and show or send them to the “First Look” video before the call/webinar. That is the system for success. And speaking of success…

The System for Success

Here is a great one-sheet from corporate called “System for Success” which outlines the activity you need to do to reach Rank 1: Manager and Rank 2: Vice President.   Take a look at this document, save it, and refer to it often.  Everything in this business is predicated on DUPLICATION, meaning that you adhere to the simple system for success and teach others to do the same in order to build a long-term source of passive income without ever having to recreate the wheel.

Building Leverage

Does this business take some effort? Yes. And yet it’s simple, fun, and it produces LEVERAGE: a fancy-pants marketing term for being rewarded over and over for that same initial effort. Put in that same initial effort with a few more people, and you can quickly see how the opportunity multiplies.
