IMG_9956As you may or may not know, I came into Youngevity from the world of Beyond Organic — all healthy eating and no time for shenanigans (right?!) — and someone brought up Heritage Makers. Care to guess my initial thoughts?

“Scrapbooking?? Photo memory book thingees?? Um… I am NOT a crafts person. So thanks… but it’s not for me!”

One year later, I have a confession: I was WRONG.

“Good Morning America” financial contributor Mellody Hobson suggests that, in the instance of fire (or other natural disaster), there are a few important things to grab before you head off to find safety. Guess what makes the list?

PHOTOS. You need to grab your photos.

Hobson says, “Photos showing possessions will be extraordinarily helpful when it comes to making an inventory of your possessions for your insurance company.” But what if there’s no time to grab them?

Not to worry — Heritage Makers keeps your photos safe. (Forever). So grab your kids instead.

(Ha!) Of course we’ll all grab the really important things first, but photos are a treasure to many. Permanent storage of your digital photos is a big deal. But there’s a lot more to it than that.
